Accomplished in fiction: Not much, by the numbers. We were at work, you know, watching Jefferson do his status quo job and getting a feel for the environment when an unexpected smell led us into a dark corner. Leaving it there for now. It could turn out to be a keeper or I may replace the whole hotel status quo scene with something that shows more about the social attitudes of the time. For now, it’s Carson’s problem ’cause Jefferson’s off work.
Accomplished in life: Great bike riding weather today. The pacific northwest is having the most mild summer I can remember. I love it. I have a lot of sympathy for folks baking in the rest of the country, where some places have had temperatures above a hundred degrees for months. Ugh.
Other: Totally dissatisfied with today’s word count. I mean really. Six hundred words? WTF? Whatever. Shake it off.
