Accomplished in fiction: Revised ch6-9 for alignment. Minor touches. Would keep going but I’ve got livin’ needs doin’.
Accomplished in life: Going to ride bikes over to a friend’s annual party. It’s a beautiful evening in Stumptown.
Other: I’m really eager to get these f’ing “alignment” revisions out of the way. It’s both tedious and tantalizing to go through the manuscript. On a practical note, lemmetellya how the act of revising works. I open two documents, “20110904_TN_REVIS_ch10” and “20110904_TN_inUseRoughDraft_ch10.” The “inUse” doc is the complete rough draft. I cut the chapter I’m working on from the “inUse” doc and paste it into the “REVIS” doc, where I make the changes and then paste it back into the “inUse” doc, saving new docs for each new chapter.
